Berlin-based company CareerFoundry has successfully closed a Series A financing round with Tengelmann Ventures, Bauer Venture Partners and VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft Berlin GmbH, which is managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, as investors. Together, the Series A investors provide the company a significant seven-digit amount.
CareerFoundry offers online courses for web development, UX and UI design and iOS development students, lateral entrants and people interested in further education a practice-oriented and mentored education for a career in the technology industry. With the newly raised capital the startup intents to further expand its network of students, mentors and employers.
CareerFoundry was founded in the end of 2013 by Raffaela Rein and Martin Ramsin and already raised six-digit investment sums in two previous financing rounds involving, amongst others, the angel investor Stefan Glänzer and Tengelmann Ventures.
