The Berlin-based Start-Up Jodel completed, shortly before the end of 2015, a third consecutive venture financing following two subsequent venture financings that had previously taken place in the first half of 2015. The funding round was led by Latvian venture capital firm rubylight and Swiss VC house Redalpine. Among existing investors of the company rank, among others, Atlantic Labs managed by Christophe Maire, Global Founders Capital and further Swiss VC fund Tenderloin Ventures.
The company offers an app for iOS and Android also carrying the name Jodel which has grown widely popular as “the buzz on your campus”, especially among students at many universities and colleges across Europe.
