Sohrab Beheshtipour in his advisory services mainly focuses on financing transactions in the industry of digital business models. As a legal counsel he applies a commercial-entrepreneurial approach.
Sohrab Beheshtipour studied law at the Georg-Agugust-University of Goettingen and hat a particular interest in international civil law and the law of limited companies. In the context of his legal training he has been among others assigned to an NGO in Africa.
Stefanie Berges advises clients in the area of corporate law. Her practice focuses on advising entrepreneurs, companies and investors on financing and M&A transactions with a focus on venture capital.
Before joining Lacore Ms. Berges worked for several years for an international auditing firm in the field of legal tax transaction advice.
Ms. Berges studied law at the University of Potsdam. During her legal traineeship at the Appellate Court of Berlin, Stefanie Berges worked for international law firms with stations in Berlin and New York City.
Matthias Braun is a one of LACORE´s founding partners and is the head of the firm´s IP/IT practice. He advises clients on transactions, investments, contract design, and on legal proceedings in and out of court. His industry focus is on media, entertainment and technology.
Mr. Braun possesses long-standing experience in supporting and advising movie, television, games and live music / event productions both nationally and abroad. He moreover regularly represents the interests of financing companies, individual investors and banks in the media and entertainment industries, of public figures, advertising /digital agencies and of foreign media companies regarding their activities in Germany.
Paula Deus advises clients in corporate law as well as in the area of copyright and commercial property protection.
Ms. Deus studied law at the University of Konstanz, Humboldt University Berlin, and the University Paris-Sorbonne. After graduating, she completed the international course in “International Studies in Intellectual Property Law” of the chair of Prof. Dr. Götting at TU Dresden in Dresden and Exeter (UK). During her legal traineeship (Referendariat), Ms. Deus was active particularly in the area of intellectual property, among other things at the publishing house Suhrkamp.
Paula Deus’ practice concentrates on copyright law and commercial property protection. She focuses on advising international and national film and television productions. Also, Mrs Deus advises companies with IT-based business models in copyright and information technology issues, in particular intellectual property and technology transfer.
Another focus of Paula Deus is on corporate law. In particular she advises entrepreneurs, start up companies and investors in the field of venture and growth capital financing.
André Eggert is a founding partner at LACORE. He advises companies and entrepreneurs as well as investors. One of his core activities is the support of M&A and financing transactions. Mr. Eggert has special knowledge in the areas of private equity financing and quasi-equity instruments. His focus is, moreover, on negotiating and drafting joint venture and cooperation agreements. Mr. Eggert possesses relevant experience resulting from his involvement in a wide range of international transactions with parties from the Anglo-American legal system. Additionally, he possesses specific expertise in the technology and entertainment industries.
Yamila Eraso focuses her practice on M&A transactions and financing with an emphasis on venture capital and private equity. She especially advises founders, companies and investors on matters related to cross-border business and transactions, in particular involving the U.S. and Latin America. Moreover, she is a lecturer in the master of law and business at Bucerius Law School.
Before joining LACORE, Yamila worked as an associate for prominent law firms in Colombia and the U.S., as well as in-house legal counsel in a German crowd-lending startup in Berlin.
Yamila received her law degree in Colombia, and she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School in the U.S. and a Master of Law and Business (MLB) from Bucerius Law School and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.
Yamila is admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the State of New York, as Abogada in the Republic of Colombia and she is a member of the Berlin Bar Association (Germany).
Maria Höricke advises clients in the field of industrial property rights, copyright and media law. She focuses on contractual consulting for movie and television productions as well as on advising companies on their industrial property rights and on disputes involving competition, press and media law.
Maria Höricke studied law at Humboldt University Berlin.
During her legal traineeship (Referendariat) Maria Höricke worked for a law firm specialised on Intellectual Property Law, the Brandenburg antitrust authorities and a production company for television and movies.
Before passing her bar exam (Zweites Staatsexamen) Maria Höricke was employed by a well-‐known, national IP law firm for many years
Elisa Kübler advises clients in the area of intellectual property law and industrial property protection. Her focus is on trademark and design law as well as media and copyright law. She assists national and international companies, start-ups and founders in drafting appropriate contracts as well as in strategic considerations regarding the registration of intellectual property rights and their administration.
Prior to joining LACORE, Elisa Kübler worked as a patent litigator for an international boutique law firm at their Düsseldorf office.
Elisa Kübler studied law in Passau and at the University of Cologne, majoring in media and communications law. At the University of Mainz, she completed the postgraduate course in media law after her first state examination and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.). During her studies and her legal clerkship, Ms. Kübler worked in the legal department of a private television station and a public broadcaster, as well as for a medium-sized German law firm in the area of IP.
Dr. Melanie Lahr advises and represents employers and executive staff in all aspects of individual and collective employment law. Her main practice areas are advising on actions against unfair dismissal and day-to-day employment law consultancy. Dr. Lahr has particular knowledge with regards to works constitution and collective bargaining law, whilst specializing in contract design.
After obtaining her law degree at the University of Rostock Dr. Lahr completed a Master Programme at the University of Manchester. Moreover, Dr. Lahr obtained her doctorate with a thesis on employment contract design at the University of Passau. Prior to this, Dr. Lahr advised, acting as an attorney at a major American law firm, national and international companies on all matters of employment law.
Paola Leiva advises entrepreneurs, companies and investors on all aspects of corporate law, in particular in the process of foundation of new companies as well as in the area of and venture capital.
Before joining Lacore, Ms. Leiva worked for several years for an international corporation in the field of corporate law and for an international business law firm in the field of litigation.
Ms. Leiva studied law at the University of Regensburg and Utrecht (Netherlands) with a focus on German and international private law and litigation. During her legal clerkship, Paola Leiva worked for the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and for a German-Spanish commercial law firm.
Katrin Mühlstädt advises clients in various areas of commercial law. Her focus is on corporate law, on the acquisition of companies and shareholdings, and on real estate and internet law.
Ms. Mühlstädt studied law at Humboldt University Berlin and at the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), where she was awarded the degree of “Licence en Droit.” After completing her first state examination in law, she worked as a lecturer in commercial and European law at the University Panthéon-Assas and as a research assistant at the chair of civil law, trade, commercial, and European law of Humboldt University Berlin.
Mr. Nieke focuses on advising clients on real estate and corporate law transactions – particularly in an international context, such as e.g. cross-border mergers. His advisory services cover all transaction phases.

Dr. Jens-Ullrich Pille advises clients in the fields of TMT and Data Protection. He further advises companies on Competition Law. Mr. Pille has a broad experience in litigation.
Mr. Pille studied law at the University of Hamburg with a focus on Communication Law and holds a Master in International Business an Economic Law (LL.M) of the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Mr. Pille obtained a PhD from the University of Hamburg for his work on the regulation of social networks. During his studies Mr. Pille worked for several major and medium-sized law firms in Germany and abroad, in the German Bundestag and at the University of Potsdam. Natalie Vahsen is a partner at LACORE. She advises investors and entrepreneurs on transactions. Focus points of her practice are mergers & acquisition, Private Equity and Venture Capital. Natalie Vahsen has broad experience in advising and structuring cross border transactions as well as in the negotiation of joint venture agreements. Her practice also comprises all issues of corporate law. Her advice is strongly business-orientated.
Before joining LACORE Natalie was part of the M&A/Private Equity and Corporate teams of an international law firm in their Berlin, London and Frankfurt offices for more than ten years. She studied at the universities of Bonn, Aix-en-Provence and Strassburg. She speaks English, French and Italian.
Moritz Vierneisel advises clients in the fields of corporate, banking, commercial and business law. His practice focuses on litigation in complex matters, in particular on disputes between companies, shareholders and supervisory boards as well as disputes involving banks with respect to all banking transactions. Another field of activity of Mr. Vierneisel is the general drafting of contracts with reference to commercial law. Moritz Vierneisel first studied business law and law at the University of Mannheim. He then obtained a Master's degree from King's College London. Otto Wilde Grillers was founded in 2015 by Ulrich Otto Wilde, his son Nils Wilde, daughter-in-law Julia Wilde and Alexander Luik, a friend of the family, and specializes in the development and distribution of high-end gas grills.

Augsburg-based Xentral ERP Software is developing the next generation ERP software for the SME segment. Xentral’s software aims to provide SMEs a powerful platform that helps them to better run their businesses. Founders Benedikt and Claudia Sauter started Xentral while working on their own company, when their realized that there was no single solution to manage the many parts of a business’ backend processes. Since then, Xentral has exponentially grown and attract investors such as Freigeist. Munich-based air up GmbH, ranked among the 25 fastest growing start-ups in Germany in 2020, has closed a Series A financing round led by Ippen.Media, Five Seasons Ventures and PepsiCo. In the last year, air up has raised a total of EUR 20 Million in several financing rounds. Air up is the world´s first refillable drinking system that can add flavor to water through scent alone, by leveraging the physiological phenomenon of retronasal smell - without sugar, additives or any other ingredients.
LACORE has advised the company and founders since their early stages. During this round LACORE advised on the negotiation with all investors’ groups as well as drafting and successful closing of the round.

LACORE advised Berlin-based real estate investor and developer The Grounds on the sale of a logistics centre in Hangelsberg / Grünheide (Mark). The site comprises over 350,000 sqm and is located just a few kilometres from the new TESLA Gigafactory, east of Berlin city limits. The sale was structured through a bidding process. Interested parties were offered the acquisition alternatively in the form of a share deal or an asset deal. Closing took place on January 1, 2021.

BIOMES uses state-of-the-art biotechnological methods to examine bacteria that live in and on the human body. The intestinal flora self-test – which was released as the first product 2018 - is now being marketed and sold internationally. During the pandemic year 2020, BIOMES also demonstrated the flexibility of its proprietary technology platform. Within a very short time, the start-up set up a COVID-19 test track which has already been used to process thousands of corona samples from Berlin und Brandenburg.

Teambay is a Berlin-based start-up founded in 2014 that specializes in the development of digital solutions for employee surveys and has supported numerous companies in the development of a healthy corporate structure with the participation of their employees. Through this sale, Teambay becomes part of the Staffbase family, supporting their growth in the area of HR-Technology.
