Sohrab Beheshtipour studied law at the Georg-Agugust-University of Goettingen and hat a particular interest in international civil law and the law of limited companies. In the context of his legal training he has been among others assigned to an NGO in Africa.
Dr. Holger Bergbach advises clients on M&A transactions and further matters related to corporate and general civil law. Paula Deus advises clients in corporate law as well as in the area of copyright and commercial property protection.
Ms. Deus studied law at the University of Konstanz, Humboldt University Berlin, and the University Paris-Sorbonne. After graduating, she completed the international course in “International Studies in Intellectual Property Law” of the chair of Prof. Dr. Götting at TU Dresden in Dresden and Exeter (UK). During her legal traineeship (Referendariat), Ms. Deus was active particularly in the area of intellectual property, among other things at the publishing house Suhrkamp.
Paula Deus’ practice concentrates on copyright law and commercial property protection. She focuses on advising international and national film and television productions. Also, Mrs Deus advises companies with IT-based business models in copyright and information technology issues, in particular intellectual property and technology transfer.

André Eggert is a founding partner at LACORE. He advises companies and entrepreneurs as well as investors. One of his core activities is the support of M&A and financing transactions. Mr. Eggert has special knowledge in the areas of private equity financing and quasi-equity instruments. His focus is, moreover, on negotiating and drafting joint venture and cooperation agreements. Yamila is admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the State of New York, as Abogada in the Republic of Colombia and she is a member of the Berlin Bar Association (Germany).
Viktoria Gott advises in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution. She represents clients primarily from the commercial and real estate sectors in demanding judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.

Viktoria Gott studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. Following on from her specialization in comparative law, she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a comparative law focus at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. During her legal training, Viktoria Gott worked as a research assistant in the litigation department of several major German law firms.
Torsten Heinrich is a founding partner at LACORE. He works on a forensic level but also advises clients in corporate, banking, trade, and commercial law. Mr. Heinrich’s focus is on committed litigation in cases involving complex and complicated facts – particularly in disputes between companies, shareholders, and supervisory board members – and for banks in all banking activities, particularly regarding the handling of distressed fund financing.
Moreover, Mr. Heinrichs specializes in stock corporation law and commercial agency law. Elisa Kübler advises clients in the area of intellectual property law and industrial property protection. Her focus is on trademark and design law as well as media and copyright law. She assists national and international companies, start-ups and founders in drafting appropriate contracts as well as in strategic considerations regarding the registration of intellectual property rights and their administration.
Prior to joining LACORE, Elisa Kübler worked as a patent litigator for an international boutique law firm at their Düsseldorf office.
Elisa Kübler studied law in Passau and at the University of Cologne, majoring in media and communications law. At the University of Mainz, she completed the postgraduate course in media law after her first state examination and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.). During her studies and her legal clerkship, Ms. Kübler worked in the legal department of a private television station and a public broadcaster, as well as for a medium-sized German law firm in the area of IP.
Mrs. Dr. Kurta advises German as well as international employers, CEOs and executive managers on all aspects of the German Individual and Collective Labor Law. In addition to day-to-day issues (especially employment contracts, remuneration and working time models, annulment agreements and termination) Dr. Kurta has particular experience in the field of Social Security Law (especially in the field of status determination and legal representation and consulting in and out of court of health insurance boards).
Dr. Kurta studied law from 2003 to 2008 at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Dr. Kurta worked – as part of her legal clerkship from 2009 until 2011 – in the employment-law-department of an international corporate law firm and received her doctor´s degree for a thesis in the area of comparative law with a liability law focus (comparison of German to English and French legal liability system). Dr. Sven Lochelfeldt advises exclusively in labor law. He is counsel to employers and senior employees, both in court and outside litigation. He gives legal advise in all areas of individual and collective labour laaw. His focus is in particular in legal disputes related to termination of employment agreements an in the structuring and drafting of employment, service and termination agreements. Further Dr. Sven Lochelfeldt has specialized knowledge in social security law, in particular with regard to status assessment proceedings.

Xentral’s software aims to provide SMEs a powerful platform that helps them to better run their businesses. In the last year, air up has raised a total of EUR 20 Million in several financing rounds. Air up is the world´s first refillable drinking system that can add flavor to water through scent alone, by leveraging the physiological phenomenon of retronasal smell - without sugar, additives or any other ingredients.

LACORE advised Berlin-based real estate investor and developer The Grounds on the sale of a logistics centre in Hangelsberg / Grünheide (Mark). The site comprises over 350,000 sqm and is located just a few kilometres from the new TESLA Gigafactory, east of Berlin city limits. The sale was structured through a bidding process. Interested parties were offered the acquisition alternatively in the form of a share deal or an asset deal. Closing took place on January 1, 2021.

BIOMES uses state-of-the-art biotechnological methods to examine bacteria that live in and on the human body. The intestinal flora self-test – which was released as the first product 2018 - is now being marketed and sold internationally. During the pandemic year 2020, BIOMES also demonstrated the flexibility of its proprietary technology platform. LACORE has advised the Berlin-based start-up Meditopia on its series A financing round with Creandum and Highland Europe as investors. Meditopia has raised USD 15 million Dollars which shall be used for the further growth of their mindfulness and mental well-being platform.

LACORE has advised Dresden-based robotics start-up Wandelbots GmbH on its latest series B financing round. Wandelbots has collected around 30 million Euros with which it aims to finance the market entry of its teaching platform for robots. Venture capital firm 83North, who has already invested in the software provider Celonis, acted as lead investor along with Microsoft investment fund M12 and Siemens startup unit Next47 as co-investors.
Wandelbots was advised by Natalie Vahsen, Stefanie Berges, Paola Leiva (Corporate), Magda Grünenwald (Corporate, IT/data protection), Paula Deus and Maria Höricke (IP).
