Sohrab Beheshtipour studied law at the Georg-Agugust-University of Goettingen and hat a particular interest in international civil law and the law of limited companies. In the context of his legal training he has been among others assigned to an NGO in Africa.
Dr. Holger Bergbach advises clients on M&A transactions and further matters related to corporate and general civil law. Mr. Bergbach studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich. Paula Deus advises clients in corporate law as well as in the area of copyright and commercial property protection.
Ms. Deus studied law at the University of Konstanz, Humboldt University Berlin, and the University Paris-Sorbonne. After graduating, she completed the international course in “International Studies in Intellectual Property Law” of the chair of Prof. Dr. Götting at TU Dresden in Dresden and Exeter (UK). During her legal traineeship (Referendariat), Ms. Deus was active particularly in the area of intellectual property, among other things at the publishing house Suhrkamp.
Paula Deus’ practice concentrates on copyright law and commercial property protection. She focuses on advising international and national film and television productions. Also, Mrs Deus advises companies with IT-based business models in copyright and information technology issues, in particular intellectual property and technology transfer.

André Eggert is a founding partner at LACORE. He advises companies and entrepreneurs as well as investors. One of his core activities is the support of M&A and financing transactions. Mr. Eggert has special knowledge in the areas of private equity financing and quasi-equity instruments. His focus is, moreover, on negotiating and drafting joint venture and cooperation agreements. Yamila Eraso focuses her practice on M&A transactions and financing with an emphasis on venture capital and private equity. Before joining Lacore, Ms. Eraso worked as an associate for prominent law firms in Colombia and the U.S., as well as in-house legal counsel in a German crowdlending startup in Berlin.

Viktoria Gott studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. Magda Grünenwald studied law at the Westfalian-Wilhelms-University of Munster and did studies in international law at the University of Oslo in Norway. During her legal traineeship Magda Grünenwald worked for a nationwide corporate lawfirm and for the legal department of an international listed company.
Before working as a lawyer Magda Grünenwald was employed as a Legal Counsel by an international operating startup company in the „FinTech“ sector and worked in the field of data protection, intellectual property and banking law in regard to crowdfunding and crowdlending.
Torsten Heinrich is a founding partner at LACORE. He works on a forensic level but also advises clients in corporate, banking, trade, and commercial law. Mr. Heinrich’s focus is on committed litigation in cases involving complex and complicated facts – particularly in disputes between companies, shareholders, and supervisory board members – and for banks in all banking activities, particularly regarding the handling of distressed fund financing.
Moreover, Mr. Heinrichs specializes in stock corporation law and commercial agency law. Mrs. Dr. Kurta advises German as well as international employers, CEOs and executive managers on all aspects of the German Individual and Collective Labor Law. In addition to day-to-day issues (especially employment contracts, remuneration and working time models, annulment agreements and termination) Dr. Kurta has particular experience in the field of Social Security Law (especially in the field of status determination and legal representation and consulting in and out of court of health insurance boards).
Dr. Kurta studied law from 2003 to 2008 at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Dr. Kurta worked – as part of her legal clerkship from 2009 until 2011 – in the employment-law-department of an international corporate law firm and received her doctor´s degree for a thesis in the area of comparative law with a liability law focus (comparison of German to English and French legal liability system). Dr. Melanie Lahr advises and represents employers and executive staff in all aspects of individual and collective employment law. Her main practice areas are advising on actions against unfair dismissal and day-to-day employment law consultancy. After obtaining her law degree at the University of Rostock Dr. Lahr completed a Master Programme at the University of Manchester. Sven Lochelfeldt advises exclusively in labor law. He is counsel to employers and senior employees, both in court and outside litigation. He gives legal advise in all areas of individual and collective labour laaw. Further Sven Lochelfeldt has specialized knowledge in social security law, in particular with regard to status assessment proceedings.
Katrin Mühlstädt advises clients in various areas of commercial law. Her focus is on corporate law, on the acquisition of companies and shareholdings, and on real estate and internet law.
Ms. Mühlstädt studied law at Humboldt University Berlin and at the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), where she was awarded the degree of “Licence en Droit.” After completing her first state examination in law, she worked as a lecturer in commercial and European law at the University Panthéon-Assas and as a research assistant at the chair of civil law, trade, commercial, and European law of Humboldt University Berlin.

Moritz Vierneisel advises clients in the fields of corporate, banking, commercial and business law. Dr. Ralf Vogt is a founding partner at LACORE. CVOD.de is a platform which offers current theatrical films throughout Germany for home/private use and which shares its revenues with local cinemas which are still closed. The films on offer usually run only on specific days and are complimented by live Q&A sessions with the film team and other free-of-charge perks. The first film on offer was „Systemsprenger“ on May 10, 2020, which won eight German Film Prices this year.

LACORE has advised Munich-based smart food start-up YFood Labs GmbH on its latest series B financing round. Despite the Coronavirus crisis, the company has received around 15 million euros in this financing round with which it aims to expand into other European countries. British fund Felix Capital, who also holds shares in All Plant and Deliveroo, has acted as lead investor and was joined by dairy cooperative Fonterra as well as Five Seasons Ventures and New Ground Ventures in this financing round.
Noel Bollmann and Benjamin Kremer, former investment bankers, founded YFood Labs GmbH in May 2017 with the purpose to provide complete food solutions. YFood currently sells liquid meals in supermarkets and drugstores as well as online.

LACORE advised the Berlin start-up Tech Open in a financing round. The company received i.a. an investment of the japanese Infobahn Group Inc.
Tech Open Air is an annually interdisciplinary technology festival which takes place in Berlin. The festival has developed into one of the most well-known technology conferences in and outside of Europe. The festival gathers a number of influential speakers, entrepreneurs, artists, scientists and start-ups from Germany and over 55 other countries.

In times of the Corona pandemic, manufacturers are making new use of production capacities. The Berlin-based medium-sized company Vielmetter, which "actually" produces hydraulic and pneumatic components for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, is dedicating its capacities in 3D printing to the production of face masks. LACORE has provided the company with regulatory support, in particular clarifying and ensuring the requirements of medical device and product safety law with the responsible authorities.

LACORE advised the Berlin based life science start-up on its pre-Series A financing round. The company received two million euros from the Munich based investor yabeo.
BIOMES uses state-of-the-art biotechnological methods to examine bacteria that live in and on the human body. The intestinal flora self-test – which was released as the first product 2018 - is now being marketed and sold internationally. The investment will be used for product development, further microbiome studies and the expansion of the corporate structure.

LACORE advised the owners of a dialysis practice with two locations in Central Germany, which had previously been organized as a partnership, on its conversion into an MVZ-GmbH. Under corporate law, the conversion was effected by way of a change of legal form in accordance with the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz). The aim of the conversion was to open up the practice for the acquisition of further practices as well as to prepare for a potential sale at a later stage.

LACORE advised the owners of a radiology practice in northern Germany with six medical licenses on the sale to an MVZ group. The purchase price was in the higher seven-digit range. The sale innovative in terms of licensing law by transferring all medical licenses to the acquiring company by way of accrual. Part of the sale was the participation in a (partial) professional association for the use of a PET/CT (combination of a nuclear medical and X-ray diagnostic procedure).
