Berlin-based Flimmer GmbH, the successful film start-up which had caught the attention of the whole industry with its serious yet unconventional and innovative marketing capabilities has been acquired by French group Webedia. Flimmer was founded by Christopher Zwickler and Marco Kreuzpaintner who had the vision of making inventive film trailers back in 2012. Flimmer’s success can be proved by the important support from, among others, German film director Roland Emmerich.
LACORE supported Flimmer throughout the entire acquisition process and worked closely together with all former shareholders, especially with film production company DCM and Flimmer’s CEO Christopher Zwickler, the latter will remain in the company.
With this transaction, LACORE continues working on its vision of supporting the Berlin start-up scene throughout the entire life-cycle of a company.
Flimmer was advised by:
André Eggert, Ingo Schneider, Yamila Eraso.
